Konsise Software Release - Version 21.0.1 (30 May 2025)

We’ve just launched a brand-new version of Konsise packed with helpful features and a few quality-of-life improvements, many of which our users directly requested.

Here’s what’s new in this latest release:

IRP6 Calculation Improvements for Individuals
Tax practitioners and accounting firms, this one’s for you.

We’ve enhanced the IRP6 process for individual entity types, so Konsise now helps determine the correct estimated taxable income used in the calculation.

If SARS provides an estimate, we’ll use it. If not, we’ll default to the most recent tax assessment amount.

This has been a long-standing request from our users. Now, there is no more guesswork when calculating IRP6 values.

We will be hosting a webinar on this topic during June.

Clearer Queued Email Notifications
We’ve updated the wording on the email that notifies you when a submission is queued. This change helps clarify how and when SARS submissions are processed through Konsise.

We’ll be updating the in-app notifications to match in our July release.

Entity Management Enhancements
 1. CIPC Data. If an entity’s registration number is added to Konsise, we’ll now automatically pull in the basic company details as they are listed on CIPC. This will work for all users, even if Entity Management isn’t enabled.

2. Beneficial ownership charts are now live

Note: There’s a known issue for some accounts without Entity Management enabled. We're already working on a fix for the next release.

Bug Fix: Tax Filing Deletion
Some users flagged a bug where they couldn’t delete tax filings from their account.
This has now been resolved. You can once again clean up any unwanted filings without problem.
