SARS Data: Timing of Retrieval of Correspondence & Viewing SARS Correspondence

Created by Christine Manickum, Modified on Wed, 17 Apr at 4:45 PM by Christine Manickum

Introduction

When integrated to SARS, Konsise will pull any correspondence available in eFiling related to the tax filings that have been integrated.

For example, ABC (Pty) Limited is integrated for their VAT201 submissions. Konsise will retrieve, through the integration, all correspondence related to the VAT201 for ABC (Pty) Limited.

The different type of correspondence categories are:

  • Statement of Account – Request Creation
Through the integration, Konsise will initiate a request for a Statement of Account (SOA) on eFiling.

The SOA information is displayed in a card under Revenue Service Details. The retrieval is done at the said intervals to ensure that the latest information is displayed in the card.
  • All other correspondence issued per tax type
This will include any verification letters, notices, assessments or any other documents specifically related to the VAT201, IRP6 or ITR14
