Tax Management: Safeguarding Compliance
ITR14 Updates and Stability
Following a last-minute update from SARS, we have made the proactive decision to temporarily disable ITR14 functionality for 2025 submissions. This ensures that our users do not submit returns based on incomplete specifications. We are monitoring the situation closely and will re-enable this functionality as soon as the full SARS requirements are integrated and verified within the Konsise environment.

Operational Bug Fixes
We’ve ironed out several workflow issues to keep your dashboard running smoothly:
- Board Reliability: We identified and fixed a deployment issue where the Last Saved period filter was not consistently appearing.
- Automated Card Transitions: We have resolved the logic errors preventing cards from moving automatically from "Upcoming" to "Current." Your task board will now accurately reflect the real-time status of your work.

Entity Management: Intelligence and Automation
The Entity Management module is getting smarter. This release focuses on "completeness of data", ensuring every field is filled
CIPC Auto-Update for Blank Fields
Maintaining a perfect database can be a manual chore. To solve this, we’ve introduced Blank Company Fields Auto-Update. If the system detects missing data, it will automatically pull the information from the CIPC database to fill the gaps.
Note: We understand that control is important. This is a configurable setting that lets you choose whether your account opts into these automatic updates.
Enhanced Reporting and Visibility
- Holistic Master Data: We have updated our Master Data reports to include every new field added to the "General" tab for all entity types. This gives you a truly comprehensive view of your data completeness at a glance.
- Active Shareholder Indicators: You can now instantly distinguish between active and inactive shareholders within the Shareholders section, making historical data much easier to manage.
- Expanded Company Changes: We’ve added "Company Voluntary Winding Up" to the Company changes section and ensured that linked resolution PDFs can now be downloaded for every change logged.

Smarter Validation
To prevent the accidental creation of duplicate records, we have added advanced validation for entity names. The system now considers both upper- and lowercase variations to determine whether an entity already exists in your database, serving as a safeguard against redundant data entry.
Refined Logic and Fixes
We’ve polished several areas to ensure a professional user experience:
- Fixed cosmetic and duplication bugs within the Manual Beneficial Ownership workflow, specifically regarding interest types.
- Resolved validation errors that occurred during certain company changes.
- Ensured that the Dividends report view updates instantly after any edit or deletion, providing you with immediate data feedback.
These updates ensure that Konsise continues to work for you, automating the mundane while keeping your practice compliant and organised.
