Tax Management: Introducing the Konsise Tax Calculator
We know that one of the most critical steps in the filing process is understanding a client's tax position before the final submission.
Pre-Submission Tax Position
While a direct "Calculate" button from SARS is still in development, we have launched our own Tax Calculator within the ITR14 functionality. This allows you to determine your tax position directly within Konsise, providing the foresight needed to review and verify figures before clicking submit. It’s about giving you the same confidence you have in eFiling without leaving the Konsise platform.

Performance and Reliability
- Request Tracker Fixes: We have resolved an issue where the Request Tracker failed to open for some users.
- Optimisation Drive: We are aware of reports regarding general application slowness. Our team has initiated a major optimisation drive that will roll out over the coming months to ensure the platform remains snappy, even as your data grows.
- ITR14 PDF Stability: We have fixed intermittent issues where ITR14 PDFs were not loading, ensuring your documentation is always available when you need it.
- Data Integration: A bug where the CIPC Auto-Update prevented tax filings from loading on certain entities has been successfully resolved.
Entity Management: Bulk Reporting and Legislative Alignment
Efficiency in entity management isn't just about capturing data; it’s about how easily you can present that data to your clients and regulators.
The Full Company Register
Consolidating records just became a whole lot easier. You can now download the Full Company Register in bulk. This feature generates a single, consolidated PDF document containing all registers and reports for an entity. This is a massive time-saver for practitioners who need comprehensive records for confirmations or annual reviews.
Allot-to-Many Resolutions
Following the successful launch of our bulk allotment tool, we have now added the corresponding Allot-to-Many Resolutions. These documents automatically populate with every individual involved in a bulk transaction, ensuring your legal paperwork is generated as quickly as the data is captured.
Beneficial Ownership Alignment
In response to evolving CIPC requirements, we have updated the Beneficial Ownership (BO) logic. The system now ensures that the Representative of a Company is correctly identified as the Beneficial Owner, keeping your records in strict alignment with current South African legislation.
Smart Improvements and Fixes
- Modernised UI: You’ll notice a sleeker look across the platform with our updated, more modern PDF and RTF icons.
- Data Integrity Guardrails: We have added critical validation to prevent the editing of allotments that have already undergone subsequent transfers. This safeguard ensures that your shareholding history remains logically sound and unbroken.
- Many-to-Many Refinements: Based on user feedback, we’ve polished the Many-to-Many utility to remove cosmetic bugs and improve the overall user experience.
These updates all went live this weekend, designed to make your workflow more intuitive and your compliance more robust.
