This release marks a significant milestone in our journey toward providing complete parity with traditional filing systems while leveraging the automation only a digital-first platform like Konsise can provide. From essential ITR14 enhancements to massive time-saving features in entity management, Version 24.8.4 is built to handle the complexities of high-volume corporate administration.

Tax Management: Parity and Precision

Our focus for the Tax module this month has been on mirroring the essential features of eFiling while providing the safeguards necessary for the 2025 filing season.

ITR14 PDF Functionality

We are excited to introduce full PDF support for ITR14 submissions. You can now download a PDF draft of your return before completion for internal review and approval. Once submitted, a final PDF version of the submission is immediately available for your records, providing the offline accessibility our users have requested.

Navigating the 2025 ITR14 Updates

SARS has released several updates to the 2025 ITR14 form. However, due to certain limitations in the tax authority’s current production environment, we have added a disclaimer to the Determinations tab on your ITR14 cards. This ensures you are fully informed of the current filing status as we wait for SARS to finalise their background bug fixes.

Supporting Document Enhancements

To prevent submission failures, we’ve refined the Supporting Docs workflow:

• Bulk Upload Safeguards: The "Submit Files" button will now remain disabled until every document in a bulk set is fully uploaded.
• Verification Loop: The system now confirms successful upload to the Konsise cloud before attempting the handshake with SARS, ensuring no document is left behind during the transmission.

Entity Management: Bulk Actions and Trust Compliance

The Entity Management module receives some of its most powerful efficiency updates to date, specifically targeting the capture of historical data and the management of Trusts.

Radical Efficiency: Allot-To-Many & Bulk Transfers

Capturing historical shareholding is often the most time-consuming part of entity setup. Our new Allot-To-Many feature lets you add multiple allotments to multiple shareholders in a single transaction.

Similarly, we’ve introduced Shareholder Bulk Actions. You can now multi-select shareholders directly from the screen to perform transfers or many-to-many transactions across multiple certificates simultaneously.

New Registers and Resolutions

• Expanded Securities Register: We’ve added a new layout option for the Securities Register that includes Shareholder Contact Details (email and telephone), giving you more flexibility in how you present your records.
• Trustee Resolutions: Daily Trust administration is now easier with built-in resolutions for Appointments, Resignations, and Removals (including deceased trustees), along with standard Letters of Resignation.
• Trustee Granularity: When updating a trustee, you can now capture the specific "End Reason" (Resignation, Removal, or Deceased) and the related date, providing better data for future automated resolutions.

Default Intelligence: CIPC Auto-Update

To ensure all our users benefit from the most accurate data, the “Auto Update from CIPC” configuration is now enabled by default for all accounts. If there is a discrepancy between Konsise and CIPC data when you open an entity, the system will automatically prompt you to update it.

Maintenance & Stability

• Calculation Fixes: We have corrected the "Total Consideration" logic in Many-To-Many transfers. The system now accurately reverse-calculates price-per-share to ensure your financial outputs are 100% precise.
• UI Refinements: The "Total Issued" value on Securities Registers now includes thousand separators for improved readability.
• Navigation Fix: We resolved a specific "hang" that occurred when navigating to CIPC or Deceased tabs after a browser refresh.

These updates are designed to turn hours of manual data entry into minutes of strategic oversight.
